I’d like to introduce the latest open mic star: Princess Mia. Insofar as I know (and, in general, that’s very little) she is a miniature black chihuahua and turns our Spirit Flute performer into a duet. Yes, the chihuahua sings along with the flutist. It’s awesome.
But Princess Mia wasn’t the only newcomer to the Bay Street Open Mic, a number of first-timers, including the impressive Sound of Streetlights took the stage for the first time. S.O.S. (I’m sure they’re aware of their acronym) are 3 guys, guitar, bass and piano who all sing; an awesome melodic trio playing original music that really blew my socks off. Right on, lads -hope to see ye next time!!
