The Red Light Open Mic at Amnesia
This open mic fired up in March 2007, often has a featured reader/performer and shares the evening with a karaoke event. Called "The Red Light Open Mic" for obvious reasons, this Mission district, cosy little bar hosts music acts throughout the week and invites folks to come present a " poem, song, avante garde interpretive whatever. Who knows, perhaps a booker will be in the audience..."
Happy hour until 8pm, the karaoke starts at 9pm.
