First Fridays at the Fellowship!
Legend has it that the Berkeley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship was founded in 1957 when 90 members of its congregation (who were also UC Berkeley professors) were exonerated by the Supreme Court after refusing to sign a loyalty oath swearing they were not members of the communist party, the university retaliated by kicking the them (and the church) off campus. The BFUU has a history of social justice and environmental activism and welcomes people of all religious, social, and cultural backgrounds, people of all sexual orientations, people of different abilities, and of all ages.
