The Alameda Story Slam
This event is on the following Fridays in 2026: 2/6, 3/6, 4/3, 5/1, 6/5, 7/17, 8/21 9/18, 10/2, 11/6
Now in its fourth year, the Alameda Story Slam is a monthly storyteller's open mic with a different theme and featured reader each month. Complimentary soft drinks & light snacks available. Suggested Donation: $20 at the door. This event mostly happens on the first Friday (exact 2026 dates are listed above), but if you're not sure, check The Alameda Elk's Lodge calendar or the event's Facebook page to be sure.
