Libraries are great. Mountain View Library hosts this combination ukulele lesson and jam for beginners. There are ukuleles available to borrow. Lesson is from 6:30-7:30, followed by the jam. Informant Erik says this is a walk-in event, so that may be fine, but when I spoke to the librarian he said signing up in advance is your best bet, as seating is limited.
